Day 2: Full Day Best of Bangkok Temples and Klongs Tour
Start the morning with a trip to Wat Pho, arguably Bangkok's most enchanting temple. Arrive just as the resident monks gather for their morning chants. Witness this deeply spiritual ritual and gain a better sense of Thailand's Buddhist heritage. After the chants, take a walk around Wat Pho and see the vast collection of religious treasures on display.
The tour then continues to the nearby Grand Palace, which has served as the seat of Thailand's revered Royal family for more than two centuries. Take a walk around the vast grounds, stopping in to explore the various temples, throne halls and museums within the compound. Visit the Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddhist image in Thailand, and hear about its mysterious origins.
Take a break for lunch in a riverside restaurant, enjoying delicious Thai food with fabulous views. Then continue onwards to visit Wat Trimitr, on the edge of Chinatown, which houses the world's largest solid gold Buddha.
Afterwards take a long-tail boat and move away from the high rises of the city and venture through the quiet canals upon which the city was originally built. Catch glimpses of the olden days, passing by charming neighbourhoods built on the water's edge. Return to the main waterway, the Chao Phraya River, to visit Wat Arun and admire its incredible decoration with ceramic tiles depicting figures of Chinese soldiers and animals.
After a full day of exploring Bangkok, you'll be returned to your hotel in the late afternoon.
Day 3: Half Day Twilight Culinary Journey by Tuk Tuk
This evening, you will be met at your hotel and taken by public transport to Hua Lampong, from where it’s time to hop on Bangkok’s iconic 3-wheel, Tuk Tuk, for a night adventure ride to visit the best local eateries around the famous street zone in town. Bangkok is claimed to be the city that never stops eating. Bangkokians usually find themselves eating out at night, especially street food, which the city is also well-known for.
Be taken for a ride and make various food stops at local places in which even smells will ignite one's taste buds. From the best kept-secret Guay Tiew Gai, one of the best Pad Thai in town, and Sukiyaki with seafood, all bites will truly be pleasing. Before meeting the elephants, prepare their food and feed the elephants. This up close encounter is a magical experience and the elephants of course love their basket of treats. Then enjoy walking with the elephants, stand back and observe as they express natural behaviors such as foraging for food, bathing in the pool and playing in the mud pit. The vegetarian Thai buffet will be served at elephant sanctuary.
Continue to Visit Plai Laem temple compound on Samui's north-east coast of Samui, featuring a striking white 18-arm image of Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy and compassion. Then spend your time at Bophut Fisherman village. The village was initially a haven for fishermen. Fisherman’s Village has transformed completely into one of the most popular areas on Koh Samui, lined by old wooden Chinese shop-houses, interspaced with a few modern buildings that match the tone, you will find a lot of local goods here such as clothing and souvenirs. Drive up the mountain with our experienced driver to visit Tarnim waterfall and magic Garden known as “Secret Buddha Garden”, a small waterfall and all around dozens of statue which were built with cement by a local inhabitant of the name of Tar Nim Thongsuk, he had begun to build the garden in 1976 when he was 77 years old. He planned to have a multi-tiered waterfall which will flow into a large pool at the base of the garden. The second garden will most likely take a long time to construct. However, with modern amenities to hand perhaps not the same twenty-five years it took Tar Nim to construct his garden. Lunch at a mountain top restaurant , The area of the restaurant has absolutely amazing sea views across as far as the five islands, Koh Phangan and beyond, it is a truly breath-taking view. Then return to Nathon port.

During the 19th century, Bangkok was known as the Venice of the East because of its many canals, which served as streets and commercial thoroughfares. Houses perched along the banks of the remaining canals are still common sight. Some of Bangkok’s most distinctive features are the approximately 400 Buddhist temples, known as wats. Return to the port and your ship in late afternoon.

Enjoy an amazing bird’s eye view of sprawling Bangkok on a thrilling 30 minute helicopter ride. From the port, depart on a 2hr drive to AA Bangkok Base where you begin your helicopter flight over Rajamangala National Stadium, the home stadium for the Thailand national football team, and the Erawan Museum shaped in the form of a three-headed elephant. From there, fly over the nearby provinces of Phra Samut Chedi, Paknum Samutprakarn and the Ancient City Museum, a massive 81ha (200ac) outdoor museum shaped like the country of Thailand. Continue over the mudflats and mangroves of Bang Poo and past the Bhumibol Bridge and Rama IX Bridge over the Chao Phraya River.
